mine for this week

             He laces his sentences with secrets he secretly does not wish to keep, voluntarily leaking from the broken and beautiful mosaic that is his restraint. I glean them with my hearing with jealous tedium, like sharp pieces of glass for a mosaic of my own. She is much too self-absorbed to take in the poetry in his breathing. They are all there, all three words; in the grace of his step, the lengthening of his neck, the rise of his chest, the fleeting gleaming within his eyes that runs away, a fawn in a clearing, leaving one emptied and wanting. They are all there, all three: I, Love and You, capitalized by the shyness of honesty and a million times true because it is unsaid. And she does not see this. So I shall collect them with tenderness, as dew on the impressions of the passage of night. If ever she asks for them I shall give them to her, tell her in epic glory how she was loved without her knowing. But for the meantime they are mine for safekeeping. And for the meantime I am glad.

Oh this is excellent. I had to read it twice just to savor the words. The "secrets he secretly..." threw me off a bit, but the whole drabble was lovely. Did you have anyone in mind when you wrote this?

M yfirst post after joining horus ago. I'd liekto know if you need to counti nthe spellcheckign as well. I wrote for 15 minutes straight but the outcome was a typical "shorthand"In places that I just had to ged rid of before posting it for others. Which jsut makes me watnto ask if you should write and correct and so forth within 15 minutes.
